Mount Gibson Iron
The Challenge:
Mount Gibson Iron (MGX) is an iron ore mining company based in Western Australia, that operates the Koolan Island and Shine mines. The company exports high-grade iron ore to global markets and focuses on sustainable, efficient mining practices.
As part of my work experience with Key2creative, I was tasked with designing a Sustainability Report concept for Mount Gibson Iron. The report needed to be visually engaging, maintain brand style consistency, and clearly communicate the company’s achievements, challenges, and strategic direction.

The Solution:
The 40-page Sustainability Report concept presents information in a visually dynamic and accessible way. Complex data is turned into simple infographics for quick understanding. The design is fully aligned with MGX’s brand style and messaging. The report utilises MGX’s own photography of the environments in which it operates to highlight its connection to place and reinforce its commitment to environmental stewardship. Overall, the solution strengthens MGX’s brand positioning, presenting the company as responsible, transparent, and environmentally conscious.
